AUTHORITY: Collection of this information is authorized by Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899, 33 U.S.C. 403; Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1344; Processing of Department of the Army Permits, 33 CFR Part 325.
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE: A Public Notice is the primary method of advising all interested parties of proposed activities for which a permit is sought and of soliciting comments and information necessary to evaluate the probable impact on the public interest. Electronic copies of Public Notices for the Line 5 Tunnel Project will be sent to all parties who have specifically requested copies on this webpage.
ROUTINE USES: Information obtained will be used to develop mailing list(s) for distribution of Detroit District Regulatory Public Notices for the Line 5 Tunnel Project.
DISCLOSURE: Provision of this information is voluntary.
